Just last week after putting 500 miles on it, it pegs the oil guage at 60. I've obviously checked the oil and everything looks fine, did I loose a sending unit? I drops to 0 when I shut it down.
Try a different gauge first.
It is possible, but unlikely, the relief valve is stuck.
