If you're wanting to keep your vehicle relatively original and want to keep the original 216, don't do this experiment with that motor. Turbocharging the splash-oiling motor will almost certainly result in bearing failure. Do yourself a favour and wrap the 216 in plastic and get a full-pressure stovebolt six to start with.
