If no one responds, here is what I have done:
Cut the heads off of two attachment screws and grind a point on the head-end of the screws. Place the screws in the door leaving just a little of the point protruding outwards. Then, put the trim panel in place and push it against the screw heads. You then have marks where the holes should be made.
