I cut the wheel openings out of two step side fenders and welded them in place. I also had to make panels for in front of the wheel openings, and behind. I used the lower rear corners of the fenders for the rear corners of the body. It is not great because there are lots of welded seams, but I am happy how it turned out. Here is what it
looks like. I learned from Stovebolt that the step side openings are the same, fleetside are not.
