Just intro'd myself in welcome center, bought 5 vehicles at one, trying to figure out what to do. one (55 belair) was trashed beyond repair, so the body was hacked off and scrapped, so I have stock frame/265/glide/rear end. one of my '58 Apache LWB missing diff/leaves and the bed fenders beyond repair (tractor got into them good). previous owner was loose w/heavy equip obviously. Wondering if the '58 Apache cab would mount on '55 belair frame? I'd think if I'm not worried about a bed (I'd rig something), the cab and front cap could be addressed. I have welded a tad before and do have a wirefeed welder. Your thoughts? THANK YOU from Alabama.
