47/55 GMC/CHEVROLET suburban frames are almost identical except for the body mounts. The 1947/53 frames are the same between pickups, the change came in 1954 with the different bed and frame arches. The suburban mounts alleviate the frame differences between years. There is also shock mount differences with some years.
