The Stovebolt Site Forums The Shop Area The Electrical Bay General question about lights

I'm not at all good with electricity Got a couple questions:

1) Say i want to put a light, just somewhere, on my truck. Does it run off of the 12V battery?
2) Do I need to buy a specific light?

2 reasons I ask -
1) I might put some christmas lights on there...
2) I need to put some dash lights in there, and all the wires are just gone!
