Those measurements are inline with this radio, the radio face is straight and not angled like the original. I think maybe it would tilt enough through the holes enough to mount though. Upon closer inspection with a mirror and a flashlight to the backside dash riveted area, it seems like my dash was cut sometime in its past. The 2 1/2 x 5 area still exists, but they cut the area where the knob shafts pass through. Think this radio might fit, its complete with knobs and foot dimmer switch and is suppose to be functional, and is astetically pleasing to the eye.
