The Stovebolt Site Forums The Shop Area The Electrical Bay The Radio Bench Radio Antenna hole drilled in the wrong place?

I purchased my 1952 Chevy truck recently, and some very nice person before me went out of his way to drill me a very nice mounting hole in the passengers side cowl. I couldn't wait to install a new antenna to cover up the hole and to keep the weather out. One problem though it was drilled in such a way as to interfere with the hood opening. Problem solved, I searched far and near for a microscopic antenna that I could live with. Can pull it up when needed, push it down when not, the only thing more functional would be a power antenna. Really did not want to have to drill a second hole.
