I need to jump in here too and and ask a question. I've got a 58 Panel that had a 67 Camero 327 in it when I bought it. I'm planning on keeping the 327 but I want to go with a HEI distibutor. Do I still need to keep the external resister? I'm trying to clean up the firewall and I'm still in the planning stages. Thanks
