Found one on-line reference that said the first of the three numerals represents the model year, so the 3 corresponds with 1953. But can't find any info about original colour
This seems to make sense....the resto pak information for my 52 called my original paint #237 - Airway blue which looks very close to the US Windsor blue brought up in another thread. I've never seen a Canadian chip/code sheet and I went with a modern base/clear Chevy blue from the 2002 model year.
