As indicated by reading the posts above yours, it appears that the first digit of the paint color code is the last digit of the year. So according to the information that Tim posted
here and substituting a 2 for the first digit, it looks like your truck was Omaha Orange (a cool color by the way - that's what my truck was).
You should be able to find evidence of the original color in a number of spots on the cab. Where the bed covers the rear of the cab is rarely covered in a repaint so should be the original color. Also, if you remove the rear view mirror bracket from the cowl, the original color should be under the rubber gasket.
