case someone else is in a similar situation.
I've got a '50 and '54 both 3/4 ton trucks and I like the way
they stand up in the air nice and proud. Don't really like the
way the 1/2 ton trucks you see now days are crawling around on
their stomichs.
Yep, the sheet metal is the same cept the beds 10" longer and
the frames are heavier on the 3/4 ton. Big difference is in the
running gear from the trans back and the rear springs and
mounts. Front axles are heavier also. Expect to have a hard
time finding brake parts such as drums and hubs but shoes and
cylinders aren't a problem.
