Soon to be putting my rebuilt '61 235 into my '46 1/2 ton and want the gas pedal to work smoothly. The old engine was a '55 235 and the bellcrank that the pedal pushed on seemed to have the wrong angle of the dangle and the movement to the carb was stiff and jerky. I want to keep my truck original so am not considering changing the pedal assy. Was wondering if anyone has experienced this and what the remedy might be. Been considering welding a piece to the top of the bellcrank to get a better push angle from the pedal. Hope I'm making sense here and looking for any input you guys may have. Jordy
