Maybe your free play is too small. Should travel about an inch then feel resistance all the way down. Have someone push pedal while you watch linkage and clutch fork movement. Can you push truck while in gear? If you push in 3rd or 4th does eng turn over? Did you install Throw out brg backwards? Try extreme clutch adjustment until something different happens. If you rebuilt a standard transmission yourself, you must know what you are doing. Don't know what tranny you have but if it has linkage on the side like a car tranny/top loader, are they being shifted? Oh yes, install driveshaft.
