Also, is it possible to mount the bed securely to the truck without the floor to ease sanding/prep of the panels?
I did it this way on my '65 & '53 but it was a lot harder to get to the rail nuts on the bottom. The upside is I don't have any bed mounting bolts showing - they are under the wood (defiantly not the stock look).
