What I have done for starters and to be able to try out the drivability of my truck is: I used 1/2" conduit pipe and a bender for my lines and made short connections with the above mentioned rubber hose.
Waiting for my Vac. from the rebuilder. I plugged the end of the vac line and ran the engine for a while. Didn't seem to have any leaks and the hose didn,t collapse yet.
