| | | | Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 Cruising in the Passing Lane | | Cruising in the Passing Lane Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 | the manual procedures are just basic assembly steps, safest for dealer liability, not necessarily the only way to do it - with electric wipers I ordinarily run the motor with no arms on to get the shaft to the park position and go from there - with some individual vacuum wipers it is possible to get the motors reversed side to side, so the sweep would be backwards
