| | | | Joined: Dec 2010 Posts: 62 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Dec 2010 Posts: 62 | I just put 3.55 ring and pinion in 1948 1/2 ton torque tube, I have a 3 speed I can buy a 4 speed for $ 50.00 .I am not pulling any weight,I would like to have a lower gear.I do not want to have to slip the clutch on hills from a dead stop, also when pulling in to tight spaces, is that granny gear a good idea?
