I would like to remove the crankout windshield and frame altogether and put regular safety glass in its place to make it a regular windshield. Tired of the wind noise and leaks. My local glass shop wants $400 to do it and i believe it is not that difficult.Looks like you need to set the glass in some kind of sealer and put some kind of trim around it. What has anybody done to seal where the glass meets in the center? They do make a one piece windshield but do not like the way it looks.Has anyone ever done it themselves? Just looking for some feedback on what has been done by others.
