In my 55 series 2 the needles were all a light green color like the glow in the dark stuff...although they dont glow. I'm a VW restoration shop and simply used some 1966 VW bahama blue (which really isnt blue) that I had in stock. It was almost perfect.
If I wouldnt have had the paint Id have just picked up some rustoleum fusion or krylon in a similar color.
