Torque tube 1/2 ton.What is the best way to get enough clearance betwean trans and tourque tube.To remove the Ball coller ,whith out removing trans or crossover ,is there a way.Thanks

You should be able to push the u-joint rear yoke back far enough to allow the torque-tube to be pushed upwards. Then you would be able to remove the u-joint, ball/bell-cover/housing, collar, and rear yoke. I hold the torque-tube up with a 2x4 that sits cross-wise in the frame side rails under the torque-tube.
