Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Jul 2005 Posts: 50 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Jul 2005 Posts: 50 | I bought a new 6 volt battery yesterday after truck sitting for a while. Fired truck right up. Today, battery was dead. Charged battery and then cranked and let run about 20-30 minutes. Several hours later, battery dead again. Could something be discharging the battery that quickly? I checked obvious (light switches, etc). Could I have hooked the battery up incorrectly somehow and it is discharging while truck is off? The amp dial needle on dash points towards the C when engine running.
