For helping keep this great

on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Dec 2005 Posts: 547 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Dec 2005 Posts: 547 | So my shifter knob, original, gave up the ghost and broke while I shifted into second the other day. I am unsure of how I should install the new one. It looks like a press fit, but I broke a new one already trying to tap it on with a rubber mallet. Should I heat it up and press it on?
