| | | | Joined: Nov 2000 Posts: 1,398 Camp Commandant | | Camp Commandant Joined: Nov 2000 Posts: 1,398 | I am pretty sure I read that these generators have low oil protection on them on them, that is why I have hopes that the engine is ok. My log splitter won't run or start if it is slightly low on oil. There are a few unknowns about what happened and I haven't gotten a real clear story from the in laws. Both the electrician and the service company seemed more interested in selling them a new unit.
