"fit and durability" is entirely in your hands, any patch panel will require fitting, and how long any rust repair job lasts depends totally on how well you do it .... I'd be skeptical there's any of these panels actually made in the US, the majority of them are contracted to Asian stamping mills by American companies .... if you run across "made in America" claims, ask the name of the company that makes them - if it's Dynacorn, they'll be good quality and decent workable fit
