These trucks are a sickness, bring one or two home and you'll be hooked. They do share a number of parts with the civilian trucks and some specific to military only. Just about everything was made in house by Chevrolet. Later stovebolt motors bolt right in if need be and they came with 235 babbit bearing, splash oil motors in them. I've seen fully restored versions with $15k price tags but the owner probably has all of that and more into the truck.

Like Tony said G503 is a good place to network for information and parts or just hang with other people that own these great old Army Bigbolts.
