I just swapped my friends '74 chevy 3/4 ton from points to HEI. Huge improvement, plus I dont have to adjust his points anymore grin

Very easy swap, just changed the distributor and the connector on the hot wire. I've never done the gut's conversion, tho it looks easy enough also. Dont forget to open the plug gap a bit for the hotter spark, and enjoy your truck.
