It really helped me to realize what I will go with. Here is what I am what I will do. First, I purchased the dual carb Fenton intake today along with the bearings for the motor and gaskets and head rebuild parts. I talked to Partick in Az and he suggested to go with the dual 1 bbl. Rochestors since I already had one and I love his knowledge also. After reading brokenhead's comments and he is correct they were the carbs that Tom Langdon sells were built for the 97 cid motor thats why you need 2 of them. I reread the tech article in the stovebolt engine co. I will call Tom on friday since he is on vacation and discuss it with him. I have to really lean towards his knowledge since he is an engineer. Plus I like the dual carb look. Moving on I am not a tinkering type person I want the Ronco version of the carbs set it and forget it. Well if i am wrong I can always downsale back to the single 1 bbls. I will next look for a t-5 tranny and hopefully I will be able to get this assembled in the next couple of weeks. I will order the Mini HEI and install a 261 stock cam and the split fenton headers then I will let you all know what happens. Thanks again guys great input. I will not be sure which upgrade will make the whole difference but i am sure i will be happy with the results. again thanks
