I thought maybe it was the new light switch I put in. Haven't had time to check it. Come to think of it, all the wires to the back of the truck and gas tank junction under the cab near the exhaust pipe. I tied them off to the frame on used piece of garden hose as an insulator. Maybe that's why the new gas gauge is pegged on full with key on. I only get an accurate reading when I turn key off and then on again. But when truck is running, the needle still hides behind the bezel, kind of a driving "peekaboo"!
