This truck has a complete original wiring harness. I think it's useable. The dash is still wired. The lighter is wired into the harness. Looks stock. The ellement is not broken also. I think it will work.
Last month I bought a complete drive train from a 1937 Chevy Half ton. ALL OF IT for 600 bucks. Then the dude through in a grille and cowel. It came with four matching brand new tires and hubcaps. Also a complete 216 and three speed transmission. If I had know this was on the horizon I would not have sold off the 216 parts, But I don't really ever want a 216. They just don't impress me. But Having a complete one ready to drop in would have been okay for starters. Anyway, I have the rear end and the entire front axel with brakes. I got all my money back on that deal, so I'm at about 400 bucks into a complete 37 truck. WoW!
It's still going to be hard not to put one of my 37 GMC cowel section on it and make another Jimmy!
But the Christmas cards will look even better with the cousins side by side.
