I want to clarify information in previous posts in this thread about the aftermarket switches. The O'Reilly link above points to a S186. The image on the O'Reilly page for the S186 is wrong (as of my post date). That is the image of a S184. They are both 12V, but the S186 is only rated at 2 amps, while the S184 is 10 amps. The physical look of the S186 is actually identical to the S183 which is a 6v switch (teardrop knob vs. the round knob on the S184). These are Borg Wagner (BWD) switches and you can view the correct picture and specs at http://www.bwdbrand.com/Online%20%20Catalogs-eCatalog/Content.aspx
O'Reilly does carry all 3 of these switches and are a bit cheaper than the usual classic parts houses. Hope this saves somebody the extra trip I had to make.
