I got the opportunity to purchase a fresh 292 with a T5 bolted to it recently. I've read somewhere that the T5 might be too light to handle a 292 but I know there are some people using this combo. I'm interested in hearing from some folks that have experience with this. It'll go into a '59 swb for normal driving, no racing. I don't plan to use it for towing but you never know what need might come up. I also have an MY06 that needs some tlc to make it ready. Would it be a better choice for this engine? Any info from those with experience and knowledge will be greatly appreciated.
