Thanks for completing the picture Brad, I snatched that image
from you some time ago. Did you document what years those
vents, plates and handles came out of???
I think you're right on the money about the very early AD not
having a notch, and them adding it when the spring didn't keep
it closed. I would have thought it was by the end of the 1947
run after they had a bunch of them back to the dealer with complaints.
Are you sure about the year of your truck Bart, i.e., 1948????
