I am trying to identify the cam shaft which came out of my 39 gmc. The engine is a 228 cid and the P/N on the cam is gmc # 2191529. The engine ran fine after rebuilding it, but I could never time it to 5 BTDC. However, it would run if I advanced the timing. This is the first time it ran since I bought it. Also the vacuum was seady but low, about 12 inches, some of that may be the carb adjustment.
If anyone has any suggestions or part numbers it would be appreciated. Thanks
