My 58 Suburban came with a drivers side mirror. It has a support bracket on the inside of the door with welded on nuts. There is nothing on the passenger side. Has anyone seen a source for these brackets? I imagine the sheet metal alone isn't strong enough for the stress of the mirror since they are reinforced on the drivers side. What do you think. My Burb is in amazing shape and I'd hate to ruin a perfectly good door by putting a crease in it around the mirror arm.
