Keep an eye on them for awhile. It's been suggested here before that if the threads or any other area begins to show rust, get it removed and brush with clear nail polish. Worth a try. The repops I used on the 59 rusted slightly but the big rust producer was the chrome tail light brackets I used. I was getting ready to toss them for the black painted before I sold the truck.
