I recall seeing the diagram to which you refer, but just can't seem to locate it on the Stovebolt site now. I think your problem is caused by using both brake light wire and turn signal wire. You only need the ones for the turn signals. It's been a long time since I did this, but there were several threads on it (which are no longer in the archive)and when I was struggling, somebody posted the info about not having to use the original stoplight wires. Maybe they are the ones that are cut off and taped. | | |
