Mornin,
So after rebuilding the carb, the generator, new fuel pump, changing the oil, a few new gaskets here and there, we got her to fire up and run.

I can't imagine what's going on inside this engine, crusty oil and water, bearings that haven't seen any lube for years, and moving parts that are dry. I'll have to run it a few more times and keep flushing the water I think till I decide if it's really good or not. I'm thinking the water pump is toast, but before I buy a new one, I'll run it a few more times. I'm not driving the truck yet, I still have to install the new fuel tank and deal with the brakes a little more. I'm pretty excited though, definitely a major milestone.
