Yes, my mistake, it is suppose to be adjusted so it is higher in the tank,,,,(I must have been standing on my head!) :o

I got to thinking,,,,just recently(I know,beginners luck :p )The fuel guage in my 72 has started acting up only reading half when it is full,the tercel my wife drives is doing the same thing.Her 260-Z quit registering at all,and the fuel guage in my nephews car was constantly reading 3/4 full(until he tried to fix it)now it doesn`t work at all!
Must be a new additive in the fuel now days! eek

There is enough good in the worst of us and enough bad in the best of us that it does not behoove any of us to criticize the rest of us.
