Hy bigwolf, taller tires, lower (numerically) rear axle gears, and an overdrive main transmission are some of your options. We're not talking about a small truck here, so a lot depends on what you use the truck for. Actually 12 m.p.g. on a truck of that size is pretty good mileage, hope that helps.
