I'm going to be pulling and rebuilding the 235 in my '50. At the same time I want to yank the 3 speed out and replace it with an auto. Whats the best trans for that? Gonna be a cruiser on all types of roads, rural and highway. I'm not opposed to changing the rear to make it work. I want it to have some get up and go, but also be economic to an extent. Waiting for your suggestions.
