My truck is a 1936 1/2 T but the horn is not Original. Inside the horn is a coil connected to one side of a closed contact. the other side of the contact connects to the case which is ground. If I power the horn, plus to the Horn terminal, and the case is ground, then the coil is energized and the contact opens.
Now, if I connect the lead from the horn button to the horn terminal, when i press the button it should connect the ground side energize the coil and the contact should close. Whats wrong with this picture? Is this how the horn works? Wiring Diagrams do not show this.
