Hello, I just aquired this very rare 1952 Chevy 1 Ton 137"WB Marmon Herrington 4x4. It was originally a Southern California Edison Line Truck that was used up in the Sierra foothills East of Fresno CA. It is all original with the 5 window cab. I plan on restoring it to original condition except that I would like to get a original 9 foot bed and sideboards. Did Chevy ever make a 9 foot bed set up for a 137" wheelbase dually? I guess all it would take is modified widened rear fenders to make it work. As you can see, the original flatbed is too long for the weelbase. I would enjoy getting input and suggestions on what I should do.
