If you can't get an exchange at your local HF (I would try this first), you could buy the correct ram and sell the flat bottom one to help recoup the cash.

The 8 ton ram is too scuffed to exchange (unless the clerk has no conscience). I plan to sell the 8 ton ram to recoup some of the cash. If the raincheck takes too long, then I might try to exchange it for an 8 ton with the correct foot.
