I've got a question -
I've just bought some new bucket seats, and I'll be installing a new custom console. This console is going to have all the goodies
and I'd like to be able to operate my power windows from it. My question is, is there a way to leave the PW switch in the door, but have another in the console which will operate the windows. The reason is, I don't want a big hole where the switch use to be. I would also like to put my auto locks in the console as well. So do I need to run a wire from the inside of the door down the firewall, under the carpet, up under the console and finally into the switch, or will that even work?
Lastly, do I need to leave both working, or do I need to just leave the one in the door for looks?
