So, the year would be March 19th 1960 (the only high-pressure year ending in 0, the last digit in the date code in photo 1). Your other photos are not identifying codes. That code with the 848 is not a head casting code. However, it is highly likely that you have a 3836848 head casting code. Post the head and block casting codes, and the head and block date casting codes and you'll be able to ID the year of the head and block (those are high-pressure engine casting-code locations). These are low-pressure engine casting-code locations. | | |
