That's right on Fred. The original antenna as about 20 feet long and without the brace
it wobbles all over the place. It's especially bad when it's fully extended and your
running along at hi-way speeds. It also helps when you pull into the garage and forgot
the antenna was still up.
In spite of the high cost of the reproduction antennas the brace that's included with it
doesn't fit very well and I ended up making my own.
