1952 GMC 454-30, 302 CID w/Holly 2 barrel, Timkin single speed rear axle, 6.80:1 ratio.
I.D. plate says Clark 207V transmission.
Truck was used as a small dump truck for city of Petaluma, CA. forever...
Can not find any tags on trans like my other Clark 5 speeds.
Trans has "Warner Gear Div." in casting on upper left side (drivers side) of case. No other markings do I find.
Do I go by the Clove Box I.D. plate...did Warner Gear do castings for Clark???
Is the trans a Warner Gear replacement or upgrade, or is it a Clark 207V, 5 speed.
Any thoughts would be of help.
