Lots of work on Brad's part ... pure enjoyment (and references) for you!

For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Sep 2001 Posts: 29,270 Bubba - Curmudgeon | | Bubba - Curmudgeon Joined: Sep 2001 Posts: 29,270 | As Bill posted, there is a 1958 Chevrolet Truck Shop Manual that is a standalone shop manual (it is not a supplement manual that needs the previous year's Shop Manual).
Some people like the Motors Manual for their truck's year. It is a good supplement to the GM Shop Manual, but the Shop Manual has much more model-year-specific information.
All the comments in the posts above about the quality of reproduction manuals (including the multi-year Factory Assembly Manual) are often unfortunately correct.
Has anyone here ever seen an original 55-59 Factory Assembly Manual for sale on eBay or elsewhere?
Has anyone see a 1958 truck body manual?
